Klass is a brand of Fascia that came onto the market in the 90s and was developed to hide the spouting (internal gutter) behind a fascia to create a clean visual line. Five similar systems are also available in the market. The system was popular on new builds for some time, but the system comes with some inherent design faults that can in some circumstances lead to water getting inside the house. If water can get inside the house for prolonger periods of time, this can lead to some of the structural timbers becoming unsound.
Klass Fascia is also prone to rusting on the bottom lip of the fascia due to the angle that its on reducing the natural effect of the rain washing the fascia. With over 25 years’ experience we have developed a system to replace Klass fascia with steel fascia behind the roof edge and external Spouting.

KLASS FASCIA CONVERSION
You’ve found out you have Klass Fascia on your home, and you want to update and future-proof. Where do you go from here?
At Three65 our conversion process follows these steps.
- Remove the existing Klass Fascia and internal spouting.
- Cut back the soffit.
- Install new steel fascia to the rafters behind the roof edge.
- Install new external steel spouting, and connect the new spouting to new or existing downpipes.
The Fascia, Spouting, and Downpipes (if new) will be installed in your chosen colorsteel colours.
This system also includes, if necessary, replacing the barge fascia with new steel fascia, and a new barge flashing. For those clients with a concrete tile roof we also recommend and work with roofers to install new concrete tile barge capping. And if, over the course of the conversion, our team finds unsound timber or cladding, we recommend and work with Licensed building Practitioners to ensure your house is looked after.
